Bologna’s big idea for securing their back line involves bringing defender Amian under the guidance of Thiago Motta, a strategy proposed by club associate Sartori.
Sartori has expressed his desire to offer Motta, who is on loan with an option to buy, a familiar face in the form of Amian. He told CalcioNews24, “Our plan is to bring Amian onboard as a stalwart defender – someone Thiago Motta knows and trusts.”
It seems that Amian also welcomes this move. The central defender has asked for a transfer from Spezia with a clear intention to set foot in Bologna.
The two had previously worked together when Motta was the head coach at Spezia, developing a good rapport and understanding. This transfer could potentially reunite the two and provide Bologna the defensive reinforcement they seek.
