Lazio FC are in pursuit of midfield reinforcements. As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the upcoming journey to Riyadh for the Supercoppa Italiana will also serve as an opportunity to update on Lazio’s transfer movements.
Club president Claudio Lotito, manager Maurizio Sarri, and sporting director Igli Tare are in the hunt for midfield bolstering options, particularly spurred by the departure of Toma Basic to Salernitana. The primary target remains Florian Neuhaus of Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The German midfielder is currently evaluated between £10m and £11m. However, Lazio are reportedly keen to negotiate a loan deal with an £7m-£8m buy option.
