Hamed Junior Traore may be set to bolster Napoli’s frontline, according to Corriere dello Sport, a significant Italian sports newspaper. The versatile Bournemouth player is said to be under negotiation for a possible loan deal between the two clubs.
Traore, 23 and from the Ivory Coast, initially made his mark at Sassuolo before moving to the Premier League. He is being considered as an alternative to Verona’s Cyril Ngonge, another winger the Naples-based club is reportedly interested in to strengthen their flanks. Despite his young age, Traore has proven his flexibility by taking on numerous roles throughout his career, including offensive winger (left-side), attacking midfielder, central midfielder, and secondary striker.
Napoli is reportedly making a determined bid for Traore, although he has been simultaneously linked with other notable clubs, including Roma, AC Milan and Fiorentina. With no confirmation from any sides, football fans and analysts will be keenly following these developments in due course.
Officials from Napoli and Traore’s representatives have not released any official statements regarding the ongoing transfer rumours.
