Fiorentina’s manager Vincenzo Italiano has lauded his team’s performance in the recent Coppa Italia quarterfinal match against Bologna. Speaking to Mediaset post-victory, Vincenzo highlighted the intensity and emotions packed into the fixture.
“It was a great match, intense, full of emotions,” Italiano said. Before continuing to credit both sides’ will to win, noting that neither team just played for the result but held their ambition for victory intact.
According to Italiano, both teams had opportunities, with Fiorentina having a particular chance in the final minutes of the regular time to seal the game, hinting at Kayode’s opportunity later on.
