Torino Football Club continues its search for a new winger to strengthen their squad, according to a report from the widely recognised Italian sports newspaper, Tuttosport. The Serie A outfit reportedly shows unresolved interest in acquiring Josh Doig of Verona.
The Turin-based club has reportedly extended their latest bid of 4 million euros to secure Doig’s transfer. The proposal in place also includes the free loan of Gineitis and a 10% share in the future resale of the Scottish player.
If Verona refuses the offer, Torino’s Sporting Director, Vagnati, is expected to keep his options open. He is ready to explore alternatives, with potential interest in targeting either Wijndal from Ajax or Bakker from Atlanta.
