Atalanta’s sporting director, Tony D’Amico, has discussed the club’s transfer market activity, including the contract renewal of Muriel and the acquisition of defender Hien.
Following the game against Sassuolo, D’Amico talked to Sport Mediaset about Atalanta’s transfer market strategies.
He confirmed that while contract renewal negotiations for Muriel were ongoing, the club’s priority was to secure a strong defender. “We will find a suitable solution in due course for Muriel’s contract. However, our immediate priority was finding a defender like Hien,” D’Amico stated.
The sporting director also remarked on Hien’s ability to fit into the club, stating, “He will do well at Atalanta.” D’Amico reassured fans that they are always ready to welcome any opportunities that the market may present.
