Tiago Pinto, General Manager of Roma, opened up about the team’s next moves in the transfer market ahead of their Italian Cup, Coppa Italia, round of 16 match. He made these remarks while speaking to Sport Mediaset.
“Every now and then I think I speak good Italian, perhaps it isn’t,” he joked. Pinto touched on the repeated questions he gets asked on the transfer market. He confirmed he had previously spoken about seeking a central defender for Serie A, but also noted they have a keen interest in young players.
Pinto acknowledged the financial constraints they are currently working within. Despite these challenges, he has not complained and has consistently found worthwhile solutions for the team.
Turning to their January transfers, he mentioned considering players like Sergio Oliveira and Fernando Llorente, among others.
