Napoli is making serious moves in the transfer market, with the arrival of Mazzocchi in the morning and Samardzic from Udinese expected soon. According to an Italian publication ‘Il Mattino’, Aurelio De Laurentiis, the President of Napoli, has shown interest in strengthening his team’s attack. The first name listed for this reinforcement is Zito Luvumbo, an Angolan-born forward currently playing for Cagliari.
According to ‘Il Mattino’, De Laurentiis reached out to Cagliari for details about Luvumbo. In response, Cagliari has reportedly asked for a sum of 18 million euros for the player. The deal, however, looks unlikely to be struck in January given that Luvumbo will be involved in the African Cup of Nations. Nevertheless, there’s a possibility that it may heat up next summer.
