Vagnati is working tirelessly to finalise a deal that would see Josh Doig moving from Hellas Verona to Torino, bringing the Scottish footballer ever closer to donning the Torino jersey.
According to reports from Tuttosport, the price tag for the player is said to hover around six million euros. However, there are possibilities to negotiate a discount. Vagnati and Torino FC see in Doig the perfect wing-back, boasting an impressive physical structure that would rectify the team’s anti-physicality issues that coach Marco Giampaolo had spoken about after a game with Fiorentina.
Previously, Torino had shown interest in Doig during the summer transfer window. But despite an agreement between both parties, the deal fell through when it was proposed that Torino striker Federico Hien be included in the deal.
As it stands, Vagnaiti has renewed his efforts to secure the Scottish player and the negotiations seem to be progressing smoothly.
