Young forward Loum Tchaouna has netted his first-ever goal in Serie A with Salernitana, attracting positive reviews from sports newspapers. Tchaouna was the match-winner at Verona-Salernitana, providing a pivotal three points for manager Pippo Inzaghi.
Two sports papers, “La Gazzetta dello Sport” and “Corriere dello Sport” both praised Tchaouna for his display.
“La Gazzetta dello Sport” gave Tchaouna a rating of seven out of ten and commented, “He plays in fits and starts, but has speed and dribbling. And his first goal in Serie A weighs heavily.”
Meanwhile, the “Corriere dello Sport” awarded him a slightly higher rating of 7.5, saying he made his mark in the match. They quoted, “He has scored a goal that could weigh heavily on the course of survival. He had a great chance in the first half, and then Montipò is beaten. His celebrations were liberating for everyone, even at the end when he went into the box to defend.”
Tchaouna’s goal has been hailed as vital for Salernitana’s fight against relegation.
