Bologna’s coach, Thiago Motta, has given a press conference ahead of the club’s league match against Roma.
Speaking on their chances of advancing in the Champions League, Motta stated, “I said from the start that the fans have the right to dream and we have a duty to prepare as we usually do for the next match.” He expressed his appreciation of the team’s efforts to maintain continuity since day one, despite the usual challenges they face. Motta insisted these difficulties should be an additional stimulus for the team, and he aims to communicate this feeling to their supporters.
Motta also addressed the performance of Roma coach, Jose Mourinho. “He has worked incredibly hard,” Motta remarked. Acknowledging Mourinho’s childhood love for football despite not playing at higher levels, he commended the significance of Mourinho’s career. Expressing deep respect and admiration for Mourinho, he said, “I always wish him well and wish him much luck…”, but hopes Mourinho doesn’t find his good fortune when playing against him.
The statements were made in a press conference prior to the Bologna-Roma match.
