Inter Milan are reportedly scouting a new goalkeeper for the future, with Monza’s Michele Di Gregorio believed to be in their sights, according to gazzetta.it.
This move comes as part of Inter Milan’s ongoing vigilance in the transfer market, unabated by previous setbacks. The player grabbing Inter’s attention, however, isn’t only Monza’s Andrea Colpani, but also Michele Di Gregorio.
Bought by Monza for four million euros, Di Gregorio is viewed as a future goalkeeping prospect. Yet, the competition for the young shot-stopper seems fierce. Milan, Napoli, and Roma are all displaying interest within Italy, while Nottingham Forest are keenly keeping tabs on him from the Premier League.
Despite this, Inter Milan remain resolute in their pursuit for the Monza keeper, seeing him as an important part of their future defensive enhancements.
