Former Genoa and Livorno president Aldo Spinelli has given an interview to Tuttosport, where he shared his thoughts on the ongoing Scudetto race in Italy’s top-flight Serie A.
Spinelli is confident that the title is more or less secured for Inter Milan. He stated to Tuttosport, “I believe that the Scudetto will be Inter’s by 90 percent. What they have shown so far is an unequalled power.”
While the former club president sees a chance for Juventus to challenge in the upcoming season, he also noted that not being involved in additional cup competitions could be an advantage in the long run. However, he feels Inter are currently in an unstoppable form.
As Spinelli noted, it’s a situation that echoes Napoli’s impressive run last year. He said, “Right now, Inter are moving at a thousand miles an hour and seem unbeatable, much like Napoli last year.”
These insights reflect Spinelli’s long experience in the world of Italian football and will undoubtedly stir discussions among fans and critics alike.
