Barone Explains Why Fiorentina Failed to Sign Gudmundsson

Fiorentina’s Joe Barone has offered insight into the club’s recent dealings in the transfer market, specifically regarding the unsuccessful attempt to acquire Gudmundsson.

Speaking to sports network DAZN, Barone addressed the issue surrounding the unsuccessful Gudmundsson deal.

“There were not favourable conditions to acquire him,” Barone revealed. “We had been closely following Gudmundsson for a month and worked until yesterday on this. Nevertheless, we wanted to adhere to certain parameters that are significant when entering the transfer market.”
