Tomas Suslov, Hellas Verona’s attacking midfielder, discussed the current stress of the Serie A club.
Suslov had positive things to say regarding his experience at the club. “I’ve always been okay here. The situation could be nicer, but so far it’s been a good experience for me,” Suslov said. He cautiously echoed optimism about the club’s standing in the Serie A, arguing that there are plenty of games left and that they’ve proven their worth against significant opponents.
Some of Suslov’s admiration was saved for coach Baroni, of whom he admitted, “I really like him. He enjoys motivating the team”. Suslov admitted that the team’s style of play suits his personal skill set well and he only had positive remarks about their rapport.
Despite admitting that the language barrier sometimes posed a challenge, the Slovak international is confident that they are suitably content working together. “I think we appreciate each other and are pleased with our collaboration”.
Asserting the squad’s eagerness to fight, Suslov stated, “We can stick in Serie A because when I see my team train and play, I notice we’re all hungry and eager to fight. That’s the most important thing”.
Showing faith in their survival in the Serie A, he claimed, “And I believe we can make it in the end”.
