In a recent post-match interview with sports streaming giant DAZN, Hellas Verona striker, Thomas Henry shared his thoughts following the club’s draw against Lazio.
“It was truly wonderful,” he began, reflecting on the match result, then quickly added that “the point is arguably the most important thing.” The forward went on to share about personal challenges that have strengthened him. “My journey has not been easy, but it’s an experience that has made me stronger, especially after the injury,” Henry said.
He furthered on the team’s performance and the need to improve. “We have proven that we are eager to win, but we need to start scoring goals first. It is not always easy to come back from a deficit. Still, we are content,” the Verona striker noted.
Henry expressed optimism for the future games, hinting that victory is just around the bend. “We are working to secure a win in the next match,” he stated confidently.
The striker also expressed gratitude towards Verona’s die-hard fans and his desire for a full-packed stadium. “We have incredible fans. I always want to see a full stadium,” he passionately remarked.
Lastly, Henry dedicated his goal to his family, expressing gratitude to his wife and son. “I dedicate the goal to my entire family, to my wife and my son,” he warmly noted.
