Venice confirms transfer of Zabala to Club Olimpia

Venezia FC has officially announced that Club Olimpia has exercised their right to purchase Facundo Zabala, as stated on the club’s official website.

A statement on Venice’s website read: “Venezia FC reports that Club Olimpia has exercised its purchase option for Facundo Zabala. The transfer of the Argentine player to the Paraguayan club can be formalised in January, according to current regulations”.

Facundo Zabala arrived in the Venetian lagoon in July 2022 and had one appearance in the Venezia jersey in the Serie B 2022/23 season. The Argentine footballer’s transfer to Club Olimpia will provide an interesting development over the next few weeks.
