Ilic stated that coach Juric asked him to be more aggressive on the pitch. “I am a young player with ups and downs, but I need to get out of it quickly,” said the midfielder. He also noted that he has grown mentally and is now on the right path.
Regarding his desire to secure points in every match, Ilic said: “We want to do our best and collect points in every game, we have become very fierce and are able to perform well.”
When asked about the injury to teammate Samuele Ricci, Ilic expressed his disappointment. “Yes, I feel responsible, but I am sorry for Samuele who played many good games,” he said, while also wishing Ricci a speedy recovery.
