Transfer Market, Agent Commissions Skyrocket: Italy Ranks Second

FIFA has released its annual report on agents’ fees involved in international football transfers. In a record-breaking figure, football clubs spent €814 million on agents’ fees during the 2023 international transfer market.

This represents a significant increase of 42% compared to the previous year. The previous record was set in 2019 when clubs spent $654.7 million. According to the report, the Serie A league recorded the second-highest agents’ fees, trailing behind the Premier League.
