Spezia’s goalkeeper, Jeroen Zoet, has deliberated on his future in football, with the main focus on a possible return to Eredivisie. The Dutch portal Ad.nl showcases his perspective prominently. He has been sidelined due to stiff competition with Dragowski which compels the steadfast defender to assess his future choices scrupulously.
His exact words were, “I want to play, it’s clear. I will clarify my future with the club, which has been consistent over the years. The certainty is that I feel fit and still want to play at a high level. Returning to Holland is not a necessity, I am also fine at Spezia.”
Zoet mentioned that although his contract is expiring, he is uncertain if he will stay with the club. “But in any case, I seek clarity before signing anything. Of course, I aspire to the role of a starter because I am a sportsman and I like to actively contribute to the team,” he added.
The main point the goalkeeper emphasised on is that, he acknowledges things can change, and he is open for any form of transformation. His primary focus seemed to be on regular gaming, thereby wrapping up all uncertainties around his future with the club.
