Salernitana’s coach, Filippo Inzaghi, has spoken out ahead of his team’s clash with Bologna.
In a press conference, Inzaghi responded to recent comments made by Salernitana’s sporting director, stating, “I believe the sporting director’s message was clear: he wants to win matches. Period. Sometimes the media headlines get exaggerated.”
Inzaghi went on to say, “I am absolutely not worried. I do not look back, I am calm and the glass is half full. The match in Florence was not satisfactory, and tomorrow we will show both the people and the club that it was just a hiccup. We won 4 points in the last three games and with this average, we can stay up.”
He further mentioned that his player Dia is in excellent form and that everyone in the team is keen to get back to winning ways. “I know that Dia has trained very well and we all want to return to success. I have nothing else to add,” said Inzaghi.
These remarks were made during a press briefing ahead of the Salernitana-Bologna match.
