Salernitana, Dia: I’m back and I’m happy

Salernitana’s forward, Boulaye Dia, has spoken out following his double strike that led to a draw against Cagliari. In an interview caught on DAZN, Dia spoke positively on his team’s performance and expressed his satisfaction with it.

“I’ve made a comeback,” he said, “I’m pleased with what we did today, and scoring on home ground. I’m feeling better, but I am available for the manager and team – these have been hard months.”

With regard to the tactical change initiated by the coach Inzaghi, Dia engaged indirectly by admitting that they had extensive conversations. He further suggested that the shift in tactics is one he can align with more comfortably.

Inzaghi and Dia “talked a lot”, the striker revealed, and following the change in game style, he feels he’s found his footing. Dia also expressed his hope for an impending home victory.

The Salernitana striker’s refreshing transparency paints a picture of a football professional who structures his life around the sport – always ready to step up to the plate, especially during trials. This approach will undoubtedly propel Salernitana forward in upcoming matches.
