Roma midfielder, Lorenzo Pellegrini, has shared his thoughts before the kick-off of Roma’s match against Fiorentina during an interview with DAZN.
Pellegrini acknowledges that this season had a shaky start for him, with a couple of stops and a challenging two-month break. “Returning after two months is always difficult”, he confessed.
However, he has been able to find his footing over the past couple of weeks and is confident about his current form. The player optimistically added, “Now, I have been training well for a couple of weeks and we’ll see how it goes today but I feel good.”
Regarding the up-and-coming match against Fiorentina, Pellegrini emphasizes the importance of being aggressive and leveraging their home advantage. He believes the battle will be hard but fair. “Fiorentina? In my opinion, it is crucial to be aggressive as we are playing at home, and it is right to prepare like this. After that, it will be up to us and the individual skills of the team to make a difference”, relayed the Roma midfielder.
