Roma and Fiorentina Draw 1-1 at the Olimpico Stadium

In an exhilarating match at the iconic Stadio Olimpico, AS Roma battled against Fiorentina in a match valid for the fifteenth day of Serie A 2023/24.

The gripping game saw Roma emerge victorious, scoring a solitary goal to seal the win. The nail-biting 97-minute encounter proved that in football, every minute counts.

As the game entered the final moments, there were seven minutes of added time. The encounter took a dramatic turn on the 86th minute when Roma’s Lukaku received a straight red card for a foul against Fiorentina player Kouame.

Tensions escalated in the 63rd minute as Roma’s Zalewski was given a red card for a late challenge on Kayode, making Roma play with just nine men.

The first half ended after 45 minutes with an added four minutes. Roma’s challenge was epitomized by a cross from Cristante to Azmoun in the 43rd minute, but ultimately the effort resulted in the ball flying over the bar.

As for the scoring, it began early with Lukaku making an immediate impact for Roma at the 5th minute by nodding home a cross from Dybala.
