Referee Massimi halted after Frosinone-Torino match

Two significant errors that impacted the final results of a recent football match have led to the sidelining of referee Massimi by the president of the Italian Referees Association (AIA), Rocchi.

The Italian sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that the match official in question from the Stirpe fixture has been ordered not to referee any Serie A matches until at least the start of 2024 due to these errors.

Following a review of the contentious incidents in question, this decision was reached.
