AC Milan’s player, Christian Pulisic, has given an interview to Sky Sport ahead of the team’s Champions League match against Newcastle.
Pulisic asserted, “We are well-prepared for this challenge.” He conveyed the team’s anticipation, saying, “Now that we’re here, we’re geared up to win this match and progress to the next round”.
The US international player also addressed his recent transition back to the right flank. The player, who has exhibited versatility in his roles this year, said, “I’m ready to play anywhere.” He mentioned the importance of teammate Leao’s return, expressing that it’s “fundamental” for the team.
Regarding Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he praised the veteran striker, calling him “a Milan legend.” Although Pulisic admitted, “I don’t know him well,” he expressed that it’s an “honour to wear his number eleven shirt.” He added, acknowledging Ibrahimovic’s impact on the club, that “He’s done extraordinary things for the club, and it will be a pleasure to have him with us.”
Each of these statements comes from Pulisic’s interview with Sky Sport, where the player highlighted not only his personal readiness but also the team’s collective spirit to take on their Champions League challengers Newcastle United.
