PSG’s Al-Khelaifi on Luis Enrique: He’s What We Want

Nasser Al Khelaifi, president of Paris Saint-Germain, had a conversation with Canal + following PSG’s advances to the round of 16 in the Champions League. Al Khelaifi expressed his satisfaction with the performance of the team and the managerial skills of Luis Enrique.

“We played in our style and at our own levels. We are happy with our coach, his work and the style he is setting because it is what we want…”, said Al Khelaifi on Canal +. The president of PSG praised the team’s aggressive playing style under Enrique’s leadership and confirmed that the attacking approach is what he aspires for the team.

Luis Enrique, he added, was very motivated and the team had signed him for these very reasons. This was demonstrated during their match against Dortmund, where despite several chances to score, the ultimate result reminded everyone about the unpredictable nature of football.

However, when asked about the prospect of PSG entering the transfer market in the coming weeks, Al Khelaifi was non-committal. His ambiguous response, “I don’t know, there are still several weeks ahead of us, we’ll see,” leaves fans and football pundits speculating over potential player moves.
