Phillips Leaving City? Barcelona Pulls Back

Manchester City’s midfielder, Kalvin Phillips, could potentially be leaving the Premier League club in the current transfer session.

Phillips is reportedly seeking more play time which may lead to him leaving the City in this market campaign. The midfielder was linked with Juventus and Barcelona earlier in January. However, both teams backed down due to financial reasons with claims that the loan fee was too high to manage for Barcelona under the club’s current economic conditions.

A cloud of uncertainty hangs over the future of the English player. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, West Ham is taking a keen interest in Phillips and has already pushed for a loan transfer. The decision now rests on the player himself.
