In a recent editorial in Libero, Luciano Moggi has hit back at Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis.
De Laurentiis drew attention in the press with his assertion that “winning two consecutive Scudetti is impossible, it can only happen by cheating.”
Moggi on his part took a swipe at the Napoli boss. He suggested that De Laurentiis seemed to have forgotten about the football history when Milan and Juventus were bagging consecutive titles, both in Italy and Europe.
He expressed his disappointment at the Italian Football Federation (Figc) for remaining silent, giving an impression that they endorsed De Laurentiis’s comments.
