Milan’s Pioli: Newcastle matchup will be like a final for us

Stefano Pioli, head coach of AC Milan, shared his thoughts ahead of the UEFA Champions League fixture against Newcastle United with Milan TV.

Pioli expressed that the forthcoming match is pivotal for Milan, marking their first significant junction in the season. He stated, “It’s a final for us, being the first real crossroad of the season, in the sense that remaining in Europe is our goal.”

Added to which, Pioli stressed the importance of the squad’s focus, noting that their motivation, attention, concentration, and determination will be at their maximum level.

“We have a chance, which is to win without getting distracted by others. We are focused on that,” he added.
