AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders expressed his disappointment after the team’s draw against Lecce in a recent interview with DAZN.
Reijnders said, “We were ahead, but we made too many mistakes. Lecce had more energy towards the end, while we had less because we were coming off a match against PSG.”
On scoring his first goal for the club, Reijnders commented, “I’m happy to have scored my first goal with this team, but today’s goal was to win.”
Regarding the wasted opportunities, Reijnders acknowledged that he is working on improving this aspect of his game, stating he needs to “maintain a cool head to be sharper and more decisive” on the field.
