Milan, Reijnders: Happy about the goal, but wanted to win

AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders expressed his thoughts following the team’s draw against Lecce in an interview with DAZN.

Reijnders acknowledged that Milan were leading in the match but made too many mistakes. He said, “Lecce had more energy in the final moments while we had less because we were coming from the game against PSG.”

Regarding his goal, Reijnders said he was “happy to have scored the first goal with this shirt, but the goal today was to win.”

In reference to the many missed opportunities, Reijnders admitted that he is working on improving. “I need to keep a cool head to be more lucid and decisive. I am working and hope to achieve it.”
