AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli shared his thoughts ahead of the Serie A match against Lecce, in an interview with Dazn.
Pioli stated that the team’s aim is “to try to play well, better than our opponents, and win the match.” He acknowledged the challenges they might face and the need to be vigilant in both phases of the game.
He also commented on Ruben’s performance, saying, “Ruben returned after 40 days and had an exceptional game from all points of view.” However, Pioli admitted that it is unlikely Ruben will play in the upcoming match.
Regarding Pobega’s role, Pioli expects him to incorporate his unique characteristics, along with the rest of the team.
