Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has addressed the possibility of midfielder Phillips leaving the club during a press conference.
In the lead-up to the match against Huddersfield, Guardiola discussed the uncertain future of Phillips. He was quoted by Calcionews24 as saying, “There is no news. The club has not informed me of anything. Kalvin has not been able to train for the past five days because he was ill, congested, and had a fever. Whatever happens, will happen. I don’t know the desires of the players and I won’t talk about the transfer window.”
His comments suggest that Phillips’ future at Manchester City remains undecided and Guardiola does not have any updates on the potential departure of the midfielder.
