Lazio’s Enrico Lotito: Bayern worst possible opponent

Enrico Lotito, the vice-president of Lazio, has offered his views following his club’s unlucky Champions League draw against Bayern Munich. The remarks were made during an interview with Sportmediaset.

On the subject of the draw, Lotito lamented, “Bayern Munich is one of the worst teams we could have drawn against. But we’re here on merit, and we’ll keep battling till the end.”

Lotito acknowledged the difference in the performance of the team in the domestic league and the Champions Cup. “In Serie A, we’re not doing well. The team needs to do better to climb the ranks. However, in Europe, things have gone well so far, and we aim to repeat that, even though we face an opponent that is very experienced in this competition.”
