Douglas Luiz will become a new Juventus player in this transfer window.
Following negotiations with Aston Villa, a swap deal involving Iling-Junior and Barrenechea has been agreed upon.
Both players are valued at €22 million plus bonuses.
Additionally, there will be a monetary compensation in the deal.
“Douglas Luiz is expected to bring a lot to our midfield,” said Juventus sporting director Federico Cherubini in an interview with Sky Sports Italy.
“We believe his skill set aligns perfectly with our team’s requirements,” he continued.
Medical examinations for Luiz have already been scheduled.
