Inzaghi: An Important Inter Necessary for First Place

Inter Milan’s coach, Simone Inzaghi, has spoken at a press conference on the eve of the Champions League clash with Real Sociedad.

Inzaghi recognises the challenge ahead, acknowledging the quality of their opponents. As quoted by Inter News 24, he said, “We all know this is going to be a tough match against quality opposition. They have shown in recent years that there is little difference between playing at home and away.”

He went on to note Real Sociedad’s recent successes, including their three victories in last year’s Europa League group stage and their strong performance in this year’s Champions League.

Inzaghi emphasised the necessity for his team to step up. He hinted at the need for a strong performance from Inter Milan saying, “An important Inter will be required.”
