Inter Star Lautaro Returns Ready for Torino Showdown

“Inter, there is concern for Lautaro Martinez: the Toro will return to the group for the challenge against Torino 48 hours before kick-off.” This is what can be read in the Corriere dello Sport, as reported by InterNews24.com. The Inter team and all the Nerazzurri fans are crossing their fingers regarding Lautaro Martinez, who has been called up by Argentina.

Lautaro is expected on Thursday night to face Paraguay at home, then next week on Tuesday night (at 4pm Italian time), he will be involved in the away game against Peru in Lima. He will only return to Italy on Thursday, just under 48 hours before the away match against Torino.

Manager Inzaghi hopes that Martinez will be given rest and, above all, that he won’t get injured, so that he can be at his best for the upcoming busy schedule right after the break. An eventual injury would be more than difficult to bear.

It is evident that Inter and their fans are anxiously awaiting the return of Martinez from international duty, hoping that he will remain fit and not face any setbacks. The importance of his availability cannot be overstated, as he has been a key player for the team.
