In a recent comment on ‘La Domenica Sportiva’, former Italian footballer, Fulvio Collovati, has shared his thought on Inter Milan and Juventus and compared their condition. He has made bold statements about the current form of the two Italian teams.
Collovati has been quoted as saying about Inter, “Inter is the team that is playing the best football in Europe at the moment, not in Italy, in Europe. And there’s Juventus, who are playing less well.” He seems to have argued that Milan has managed to outclass Juventus on the field through determination and humility.
Highlighting the offensive prowess of Inter Milan, Collovati recalls that the three main Juventus forwards combined have managed only 11 goals, while Inter’s Lautaro Martinez has scored 14 goals on his own.
As for Juventus’ current issues, he has noted, “The problem with Juventus involves their utilization of Vlahovic, which at the moment is not there.” He implies that with the services of Lukaku, Juventus could have had a stronger chance of winning the league.
He further argues that Inter is presently having an advantage as they have forwards who are more adept at scoring goals, something he thinks Juventus is currently lacking.
Speaking glowingly of Inter, he said, “Inter is a perfect machine, everything works wonderfully.” He praised their midfield as the best in Italy, possibly even in Europe. He also lauded Hakan Çalhanoğlu for his leadership quality in all aspects, as well as his on-field ability, especially when it comes to penalties.
According to Collovati, the Turkish international Çalhanoğlu has become an absolute leader under all aspects for Inter and has been performing flawlessly, especially in terms of taking penalties.
The remarks made by Fulvio Collovati on ‘La Domenica Sportiva’ have echoed around the football community, with many agreeing with his assessment of the current state of both Inter and Juventus.
