Growth Decree, no tax discount for January: no extension approval

The extension of Italy’s Growth Decree, a measure favourable for Serie A clubs in their winter transfer market, will not go ahead as planned, reports Ansa.

The decision has been made in the wake of intense debates in Parliament.

The measure was highly sought after by Serie A clubs considering the winter market, as it would have allowed them to save money on the wages of foreign players.
