Defender Riccardo Marchizza underwent a successful operation in Finland, and Frosinone are set to welcome him back in March 2024.
The Serie B club Frosinone announced that Marchizza, who injured his left hamstring, underwent surgery. The operation turned out to be a success.
The club’s official statement revealed, “Frosinone Calcio announces that today, the player Riccardo Marchizza underwent a surgical operation on his left hamstring. The operation was successfully performed by Professor Lasse Lempainen, an orthopedic surgeon, at the Pihlajalinna Hospital in Turku, Finland.”
The news comes as a positive development for the Italian club, and they eagerly wait for Marchizza’s return to play in March 2024.
