Europa League: Referee appointments announced for Roma and Atalanta matches

Tomorrow night will see two Italian teams, Roma and Atalanta, hit the pitch for their Europa League matches. BBC sports reveal the official refereeing appointments being allocated for these games.

For the Roma versus Sheriff Tiraspol match, French referee Jerome Brisard will be taking the helm. Assisted by his fellow countrymen, Nicolas Danos and Aurelien Drouet, they will be providing the on-field refereeing support. Jeremy Stinat, another referee hailing from France, will be serving as the fourth official.

French official Benoit Millot has been named as the VAR (Video Assistant Referee), while Dutchman, Rob Dieperink will take the role of AVAR (Assistant Video Assistant Referee).

The Europa League match between Rakow and Atalanta meanwhile sees Albanian Enea Jorgji assigned as the main referee. He will be supported by assistant referees Denis Rexha and Ridiger Cokaj, also from Albania. Florian Lata, another Albanian, has been designated as the fourth official.

For this game, Spanish referee Carlos del Cerro Grande will act as VAR, with Guillermo Cuadra, also of Spain, stepping into the AVAR role.
