De Roon warns Atalanta: More ferocity needed, focus on Lecce

Atalanta midfielder Marten De Roon has given official statements following the club’s defeat against Bologna and conveyed his strong desire to bounce back into the league.

Speaking to the official channels, De Roon admitted that they had deserved to win against Bologna. “We saw an Atalanta team on Saturday dominating by creating opportunities, stealing every one of their balls, forcing them to back down,” said De Roon.

He also stressed the importance of not constantly losing in direct confrontations, highlighting the need for increased strength and determination in the future.

“WE want to be ready for Lecce, always with the right ferocity,” De Roon added, thereby emphasizing their resolve to prepare adequately for upcoming games.
