Conceicao Defends Taremi Amidst Inter Clash: Predicts He Will Make History

Porto’s Manager, Sergio Conceicao, has addressed the ongoing transfer speculations surrounding Mehdi Taremi’s potential move to Inter.

In a recent press conference, Conceicao diplomatically shared his thoughts: “I don’t work at the airport, so I have no knowledge of which flights are leaving…Taremi has a contract until June and he respects the club. He’s ahead of Hulk in terms of number of goals scored with fewer games played. We can’t forget his journey with us. He deserves respect because he has immense respect for the club and has demonstrated his commitment on multiple occasions. Even after a strenuous Asian Cup stint, he made himself available for our Arouca match.”

“Nobody feels stronger about the club,” praised Conceicao. He further voiced unequivocal support for Taremi, implying that any player lacking commitment wouldn’t be part of his team, “I wouldn’t tolerate someone who isn’t fully committed. I value Porto immensely and wouldn’t describe it with anything but high regard.”

The manager also commended Taremi’s professionalism, “There are players who have worked exceptionally right until the very end. He is an excellent professional.”

These comments come amidst rumours about Inter’s interest in the Iranian forward.
