UEFA has announced the refereeing teams set to officiate UEFA Champions League matches involving Lazio and Milan, which are due this Wednesday evening.
The match between Atletico Madrid and Lazio will be officiated by Dutch referee Serdar Gözübüyük. He will have the assistance of fellow Dutchmen, Erwin Zeinstra and Johan Balder, with Joey Kooij also from the Netherlands acting as the fourth official.
For the VAR duties, Marco Fritz from Germany will be in charge, supported by the Assistant VAR, Fedayi San from Switzerland.
On the other hand, the fixture featuring Newcastle versus Milan will see yet another Dutch referee in charge, Danny Makkelie. His compatriots, Hessel Steegstra and Jan de Vries, will act as his assistants for the match. Allard Lindhout, also from the Netherlands, has been assigned as the fourth official.
The VAR for this match will be overseen by Rob Dieperink from the Netherlands, with Clay Ruperti, another Dutchman, taking on the role of Assistant VAR.
