Brescia parts ways with coach Gastaldello, temporary replacement named
Brescia Calcio has announced the dismissal of coach Daniele Gastaldello in an official statement. The club thanked the coach for his dedication and professionalism during his time with the team.
“In agreement with the President Massimo Cellino, we have decided to part ways with Daniele Gastaldello as the head coach of the first team. We thank him for his commitment and wish him the best for his future career,” said the official statement from the club.
Additionally, the statement also mentioned the dismissal of Dan Thomassen and Salvatore Sciuto from their roles. The team will now be temporarily managed by Primavera Coach Luca Belingheri.
The BBC reached out to the club for further comments, and a spokesperson stated, “While it’s a challenging time for the team, we believe that this decision is in the best interest of the club as we look to move forward.”
The news about Gastaldello’s departure comes after a series of disappointing results for Brescia, and the club will be looking to turn their season around with a new interim coach at the helm.
