Borussia Dortmund’s Terzic on PSG: We want to win

Borussia Dortmund’s head coach, Edin Terzic, held a press conference ahead of the Champions League clash between his side and Paris Saint Germain (PSG).

Terzic strongly dismissed the suggestion that his team is seeking revenge in the upcoming match. Instead, he pointed out, the real motivation is the desire to win games. Terzic is reported to have emphasised, “Revenge is not the right term. This is not our motivation. Above all, we want to win games.”

The former Borussia Dortmund player has high hopes for the game, highlighting the backing they’ll receive from their loyal supporters. “We will be playing in front of 80,000 people,” he said.

Terzic showed respect to their oncoming opponent, acknowledging PSG’s skills. Nevertheless, he also highlighted some potential weaknesses of the French team.

“We’ve seen the quality of the opponent, but we’ve also noticed that they struggle defending when playing away,” Terzic stated.

He ended the press conference full of confidence, alluding to their previous successful performance. Comparing it to the upcoming game, he said, “Last Saturday we demonstrated that we can be very brave.”

The press conference came on the eve of a highly anticipated Champions League showdown between Borussia Dortmund and PSG. The outcome of the clash remains to be seen, but the statements by Dortmund’s coach have certainly added to the excitement.
