Bologna striker, Joshua Zirkzee, has shared his feelings during a DAZN interview following the team’s victory over Salernitana.
Expressing joy not only for his personal double in the game but also for a solid first half performance, Zirkzee emphasised that he was looking forward to their next match, stating, “I am happy, not only for the brace, but for the match. I had a great first half, the second half was a little more difficult. We played a great game, but that’s in the past now, let’s look ahead to the next.”
Discussing the significance of winning away games, Zirkzee conveyed the team’s strong character and maximum effort, saying, “For us it was important to win on the road. Today we performed well, all the boys gave their best.”
When asked about his interest in other sports, Zirkzee acknowledged his appreciation for basketball, more specifically Virtus Euroleague matches, saying, “Yes, I like basketball. Virtus plays in the Euroleague, and I enjoy watching them play. It’s a good way to build morale in the group.”
Throughout the interview, Zirkzee seemed confident and committed, qualities he has consistently displayed on the football pitch.
