AC Milan’s midfield player Ismael Bennacer has expressed his strong belief in the team’s ability to clinch the Scudetto, according to an interview with Sport Mediaset.
“We definitely believe in the Scudetto. The initial excitement is over, now it’s time to work. There’s a long road ahead; we need to focus on one match at a time,” said Bennacer.
Bennacer further reinforced the team’s determination to qualify for the Champions League. “We are Milan, it’s not over yet. We still have a few chances, so we will do everything to try to qualify,” he added.
Commenting on Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s influence on the team, Bennacer admired Ibrahimovic’s contributions without confirming whether he would be part of the team in the future. “Ibra as a teammate has brought something to the team. We have not discussed this with him or the other team members. I don’t know if he will come, but Ibra remains Ibra: he would help everyone,” commented Bennacer.
When asked about his future at AC Milan, Bennacer did not rule out the idea of staying with the team for life. His quote, “Why not?! I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, but Milan is a team that is in my heart,” suggests his deep affection for the team.
