Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president of Paris Saint-Germain and the European Club Association, has stated that a club he did not name, reportedly Juventus, would be welcome back to the organisation if they abandon their attempts to form a breakaway Super League.
“If they stop fighting for what they are trying to achieve, which I think is a foolish project, they are always welcome back,” Al-Khelaifi said at the conclusion of a recent meeting. He also mentioned that he had been in touch with the owner of the club, who expressed a desire to return.
However, Juventus, the club supposed to be in question, has emphatically denied these suggestions. A report via the Reuters news agency mentions an official denial coming from the club, contradicting Al-Khelaifi’s claims.
